    As a successor of the well known CROP TIGER 30, the new CROP TIGER 40 embodies its predecessor’s well proven characteristics and complements them with further features and updates. As a result, this combine is the most efficient CROP TIGER ever built in India.

    The all new 76 HP TATA BS-III engine with reduced rpm delivers a huge amount of power with high reserves of torque. The new 3.2 m cutterbar and the larger 1700 l grain tank make the CROP TIGER 40 more efficient, as fewer turns in the fields are required and the working time can therefore be extended.

    The CROP TIGER 40 is equipped with 14.9-28 front tyres, which make harvesting possible even in semi-wet fields. The CROP TIGER 40 is able to harvest multiple crops such as rice, wheat, soybean, legumes, mustard and chickpeas. The low loss level and the negligible proportion of damaged grains mean that it is even possible to harvest maize and basmati with the CROP TIGER 40. There is no question: the CROP TIGER 40 ensures long harvesting seasons and maximum machine usage.

    The level of comfort provided by the CROP TIGER 40 has been increased with the addition of a number of features, such as the large fibre canopy and the standard-fit air compressor. And road travel is no problem for the CROP TIGER 40: the all-new cutterbar trailer, specially designed for its 3.2 m cutterbar, makes for convenient and safe road travel.

    Advanced function management.

    Operator comfort and convenience are optimised by an array of instruments: fuel gauge, engine temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and many more. A visual alarm for the air filter and the battery indicator complete the line-up. Stay connected: an electronically regulated power socket for charging devices is included as standard.

    The working width of 3.2 m is ideal for both large and small fields and even where seed generation is the priority.

    Crop lifters.
    CLAAS crop lifters fitted at the knife section lift every single plant, especially in crops such as basmati, chickpeas and legumes. They also prevent damage to the knife holder when operating in uneven fields.

    Every plant counts. The crop dividers separate the plants before cutting, to ensure no uncut plant gets crushed by the cutterbar or the tyre. The curved reel arm provides extra room for the reel to move vertically, which helps in laid crops. The reel tine angle can also be adjusted to suit different crops and conditions.

    Continuous working with complete confidence.
    The proven slip clutches for the reel and the auger provide additional safety in the event of an overload. This unique feature ensures that the machine can be used continuously without any problem

    Hexagonal reel.
    The hexagonal reel of the cutterbar helps in maintaining a consistent crop feed and can therefore reduce feeding losses and increase your profit.

    Every grain is precious.
    Equipped with the revolutionary Tangential Axial Flow (TAF) threshing and separation mechanism, the CROP TIGER 40 provides outstanding grain quality with minimum losses. Each grain is acted upon by centrifugal forces for two and a half revolutions. This results in outstanding threshing efficiency and negligible grain breakage.

    Ready for any crop.
    Thanks to the TAF system, this machine is ideally suited to crops such as basmati, wheat, soybeans, chickpeas, mustard and legumes. The large threshing and separation area easily handles huge amounts of the harvested crop.

    Special rice rotor available.
    If only rice is to be harvested, a rotor specially designed for this crop is available as an option. The rotor really comes into its own when the rice straw is long and still green: even in the toughest conditions, you can expect the best possible threshing, separation and cleaning results from the CROP TIGER 40.

    Cleaning at its best.
    The well thought-out sieve section boasts a cleaning area of 1.24 m². Two independently working sieves are fitted with “frog-mouth” lip openings providing gentle treatment of each and every grain. A blower with variable speed settings is provided to blow away the chaff.

    Fast and clean unloading.
    A user-friendly unloading auger with a universal joint is suitable for discharging straight into sacks without any grain wastage. The high discharging capacity of 30 l/s makes for short offloading times and enhances efficiency.

    Larger grain tank: 1700 l with cover for all conditions.
    The large 1700 l grain tank enables efficient harvesting over extended periods.

    The fuel-efficient 76 HP BS-III engine from Tata is a safe and reliable power plant. The reduced engine speed of just 2200 rpm means that their is plenty of power in reserve if conditions get difficult. As far as maintenance is concerned, all the parts can be accessed easily and can therefore save a great deal of precious harvesting time.
